Toussaint Capital Partners Participates in 35th annual Black & Puerto Rican Legislative Caucus
Thousands of people descended upon New York's capital city of Albany for the 35th annual Black & Puerto Rican Legislative Caucus on the weekend on February 18, 2006. Workshops during the day featured speakers on a wide range of topics, including the state budget, healthcare, housing and education reform. At the gala dinner on Sunday evening, the keynote speaker was Senator David Paterson, recently selected by gubernatorial candidate and Attorney General Elliot Spitzer as his running mate for Lt. Governor. A highlight of the weekend was the annual reception hosted by Ways & Mean Chairman Herman "Denny" Farrell in the rotunda at City Hall. Guests included Senator Hillary Clinton, Speaker Sheldon Silver and Attorney General Spitzer. Pictured below with Mr. Spitzer and Mr. Farrell is Paul T. Williams, Jr., President of Toussaint Capital Partners. Williams was formerly chief counsel to Assemblyman Farrell and was hand-picked by Attorney General Spitzer to serve on the interim board of directors to rescue Hale House from managerial and financial difficulties.
